iHunt Hunting Calls 750 App Reviews

This is a great game call system! My last electronic game call was a cassette. It was heavy with two large batteries and a bullhorn speaker with 30 of cable. The iHunt by Ruger fits in my pocket. The Bluetooth speaker they sell has a hook on it and I just hook it in my pocket.

So far this app has been everything I hoped it would. If it had a GPS map included, it would be the only one needed in hunting applications. Great job!!!

Cannot use hardly anything on this app unless you buy $5.99 version. Useless as a free version.

Played the crow calls through my trucks radio. Had crows flying over in just a couple minutes.

Great app great speaker but it needs an elapsed timer so you know how long you are calling per stand or where you are in your call playlist. Most ecalls have this feature.

This is a great app. Being that Ruger has their name on I would think it would have a simple ballistics calculator on it.

Over all I find the app to work well but I would like to see in the app for it not to reset every time the app closes. It needs to be able to run in the background. When Im hunting I still need to use my phone from time to time. When I set up a long playlist and have the timing set the way I want it and all of a sudden I need to take a call I still would prefer that the app keep running.

This is a really great app!!!! I received the ihunt for a christmas gift. And after I was able to get if to sync, everything worked perfectly!!!!! If you buy the iHunt speaker you receive the full access to all the calls!!!!!! Awesome device and awesome app!!!!!

There is nothing you can do with this app until you pay the $5.99 upgrade except use the compass and the flashlight. I thought the Ruger name might make it legitimate. Wrong.

The concept is great but the volume of speaker is way too low! The range on Bluetooth is also too short! I know what. I am talking about, I am a predator hunter and use regular E-callers such as Foxpro&Primos Alpha dog. No comparison! This is junk!!!

Always have the use of a call when I forget mine or drop my call from a tree and dont have to get down.

Its great especially when teamed with the ihunt caller. Deadly combination.

Does everything it says it will do. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it does the weather better than my weather app!

I have had this app since it was free. Something like 3/4 years now. And it never made me pay for any of the updates. And let me tell ya. I would definitely pay for it. (Im not saying DO that ihunt)

"Free" means you can download the app and NOT use 95% of it unless you PAY. If the paid calls are anything like the free ones (literally one to 10 seconds in length) it isnt worth 10 cents. Awful app.

This is a great and extremely versatile app. Im using it with the Ruger iHunt Bluetooth speaker, distance is as advertised (50+ yards) and volume is more than adequate. I particularly like the playlist feature which enables you to combine calls at various volumes to create your own personalized extended length call sequences. I had an issue with downloading the app and I wrote to iHunt customer service and received an email within 24 hours directly from the owner, Gary Lemanski, resolving the issue -- customer service doesnt get better than that! Highly recommended!!!

Very, very impressive package for the money! Ive used products that were four or five times more expensive than the iHunt that didnt work as well! Well done Ruger; as usual you deliver solid value for the money!
